Rwandan Community in Ghana Concludes 2025 Engagements with Community Sports Event
The Rwandan Community in Ghana has successfully concluded its 2025 community engagements with a vibrant community sports event held in Accra, bringing together members in a spirit of unity, wellness, and national pride.
The highlight of the event was an 8-kilometre health walk, organised to promote physical fitness, social cohesion, and collective well-being among Rwandans living in Ghana.
Community members of all ages participated enthusiastically, reaffirming their commitment to healthy lifestyles and strong community bonds.
The High Commissioner of Rwanda to Ghana, H.E. Rosemary Mbabazi, joined the walk and interacted closely with community members throughout the event.
Her participation underscored the High Commission’s continued support for initiatives that strengthen unity and engagement within the diaspora.
Addressing participants at the end of the walk, High Commissioner Mbabazi commended the community for its active involvement and organisation.
She engaged members on Rwanda’s ongoing national policies and development priorities, highlighting the important role of the diaspora in supporting Rwanda’s transformation agenda.
The High Commissioner encouraged community members to remain actively involved in national development programmes and to continue serving as ambassadors of Rwanda’s values abroad.
